We have been busy the past couple of weeks on the remodeling project at the Northfield Historical Society. Our main task has been to shelter the work areas and work on demolition of existing surfaces and materials. That is a big job on a site like this. Most of the work is taking place in the ‘annex’ that is just 10′ wide. Lots of materials are being moved by hand. We erected a temporary enclosure to heat the area, and have erected scaffold as needed.

We chipped off plaster on some of the stone walls that will be exposed. The 150 year old stone walls look good when exposed again to the world!
