The owners of this historic stone home in Faribault did not like the way a garage was added to the home many years ago. They worked with their architect to arrive at a way to attach a completely new double garage to the home while preserving the historic details of the home.

Our garage work included the concrete and masonry work necessary to create a stable structure that allowed for the owners to use the roof of the garage as an entertaining area. We faced portions of the garage with limestone to match the home. Copper flashings and iron railings were included in the design to reflect the original historical nature of the home. We created a trellis, complete with architectural brackets, over part of the garage roof deck to help filter the west sun.
