Our work on the new buildings for the Gardens of Eagan is well underway. It took several days to get all the site work completed, but it has been done now. We have a new driveway in from the east that makes entering the work site easier. The workers completed installation of the concrete walls for the loading dock. A loading dock is an important feature for a business like this as they have many trucks pulling in to pick up produce. Not having to load trucks by hand is a real benefit.
The buildings themselves are constructed using posts and framing. We bored the holes and started setting the poles last week. Today the workers quit setting poles as it was too windy to do the work safely and properly. So they started installing the wood purlins on the poles that were already set in place. Once the wind dies down they will go back to setting the rest of the poles.
